Intelle carried out the civil and engineering works for a phased 21 residential unit development for Merthyr Valley Homes. The project consists of a mix of 2 storey houses, bungalows and flats with the initial phase completed in March 2015. The project involved extensive civils work to profile the site and construct new retaining walls with services and drainage diversions.
The new residential units were constructed in a cold rolled light gauge steel frame system as an alternative to timber frame. This modern build solution achieved a cost effective build process, for obtaining Code for Sustainable Home Requirements whilst maintaining the highest level of quality and increasing sustainability and speed of build.
