Travelodge Hotel, Balham
The project saw the conversion and extension of a derelict office block into a Travelodge hotel. The existing building, which had 4 levels, was stripped back to the RC frame before building 2 levels on top of the existing roof slab with timber frame.
The extension to the back of the existing office block entailed a concrete framed ground and first floor with 3 levels on top, and then formed by timber frame. The bathrooms throughout the job arrived as pods.
