Barclays Bank, Queen Street

Project Overview

The works involved the structural alteration and refurbishment of the former Barclays Bank Building on Queen Street. The project provided retail space to the ground floor with storage and staff facilities in the basement levels, whilst the 3 upper floors were converted into office space which was fully fitted out.

The stone façade building, which had to have the grade II external appearance maintained, required the installation of new crital steel double glazed windows. The internal alterations involved significant structural alterations and an extension of the ground floor retail space.
